Once a website project is completed and online, it is necessary to monitor whether the respective web application remains "online" and functional. To do so, we use Pingdom, an application that allows us to simulate sequences of activities (e.g. logging into the CMS back-end) on a regular and automated basis, to monitor the "health" of an application. If a website (or a part of it) cannot be reached or does not work as intended, the relevant individuals are informed and - if necessary - the corresponding services are automatically restarted. pingdom.com
