Controlling the truth, Google, Facebook, Twitter etc.

During times in which basic rights are being limited by the government and dangerous things such as mandatory vaccination are discussed, it may seem strange to question the power of social media giants. However, one issue in this context has given me no rest recently.

I simply cannot explain to myself how it can be possible that Google, Facebook, Twitter etc. are working together to fight "disinformation" and to use their algorithms to determine what is and what is not considered to be "the truth".

A scenario in which only opinions from the often commercially infiltrated mainstream is regarded as "truth" and alternative sources of information cannot even be found, must - in my opinion - be fought decisively.
