Unfck the internet, Mozilla Foundation
Generally speaking and independent from angle or context: freedom should be sacrosanct.
The Mozilla Foundation works to ensure the internet remains a public resource that is open and accessible to all of humanity.
Excerpts from the Mozilla Manifesto:
- We are committed to an internet that includes all the peoples of the earth — where a person’s demographic characteristics do not determine their online access, opportunities, or quality of experience.
- We are committed to an internet that promotes civil discourse, human dignity, and individual expression.
- We are committed to an internet that elevates critical thinking, reasoned argument, shared knowledge, and verifiable facts.
- We are committed to an internet that catalyzes collaboration among diverse communities working together for the common good.
The open source browser Firefox is probably the most popular project maintained by the foundation.
Following recent reports on a possibly uncertain future for the foundation and its efforts, we would like to take the opportunity to draw attention to Mozilla's current campaign "Unfck the internet".
We therefore would like to invite everyone with Mozilla's own words: "Join the anti-establishment!" ;)
